A ground slide with surreal proportions swiftly took the life of four persons (two children and their two parents) on Salvail North in St.Jude. The incident involved numerous local, regional and provincial emergency services. Since some credible information indicated that a house that was swept by the ground slide may have contained four occupants and the time of the event, rescue workers, specialists and experts quickly searched for survivors. Unfortunately, 24 hours after the incident, it was confirmed that the four occupants were found dead in the house.
